Hortus Carmeli

Despre propretarii acestei gradini:
It’s almost ten years that we began to create this garden. It was then that we decided to change our lives. Until then we had lived in a downtown district of Budapest, and it seemed that both of us will pursue a more or less ordinary scholarly career. Tamás had graduated in art history and languages, while I in psychology and sociology. Then we were engaged in various scholarly projects, lectured at various universities, translated books. Besides, we felt an increasing need to live ever more profoundly our Catholic faith. And as our aaaaaaa
with God became deeper, we felt that our life is too noisy and extroverted. This is why we have moved from Budapest, and began to create the house and the garden presented in these images, where we live now. Then we gradually felt the courage to leave the regular career and to follow paths where we felt more the invitation of God. Tamás has realized the dream of his childhood and established a publishing house that publishes the works of Renaissance and Baroque authors in electronic form (http://www.studiolum.com/). And I have started to study the path of Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross. We have been considering for a while that it would be good to share with others too the gifts we have received in this way. And we hope that this hortus carmeli will also encourage others to step on the way to where God invites them. — With love: Kata and Tamas
